Ross P. Marine, DHL, MHA, FACHCA, and FAMA Diplomate in Health Care Administration, has more than 40 years of experience in health care, public health, long-term care, rehabilitation services, home health, Native American health and management consulting. Ross has served in major health care leadership roles at the local, regional, state, national and international level. Ross is currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in Kansas and Missouri. He has volunteered with MRCKC since 2005. Ross also serves as Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic to the Midwest region of the U.S. |

|
Alisha Griswold, an emergency planner for Johnson County, Kan., Health Department, has specialized training in radiological and epidemiological disaster planning and response, including coursework through the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute, the CDC and FEMA. Griswold joined MRCKC in 2006 and enjoys working with other disaster response organizations during regional exercises, training sessions and community outreach events. She is a member of the Olathe, Kan., Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), is licensed as an emergency medical technician by the state of Kansas, and volunteers with the Wyandotte County Chapter of the American Red Cross as a voluntary agency liaison. |

Laila J. Hassan-Meyer is a chemist for the Kansas City, Mo., Water Services Laboratory where she is also a member of an emergency preparedness team. She is a member of KCMO’s CERT and is a volunteer with the KCMO Public Health Ambassador program. For five years she volunteered with the Girl Scouts, facilitating trainings for teens and adults. Hassan-Meyer also volunteered with The Hugs Project as a group event and meeting coordinator. She coordinated facilities, sponsors, volunteers, finances and fundraising events to support troops in the Middle East. Hassan-Meyer is pursuing a master’s degree in public health. |

Lora Winn Rochelle is a licensed professional counselor and works part-time as adjunct faculty in the psychology department at Avila University. She is a third year Ph.D., student in health psychology and has a wide variety of experience. She was appointed to co-chair the Board of Property and Maintenance Appeals by Mayor Cleaver of Kansas City, Mo. Rochelle served as a court appointed special advocate (CASA) in Liberty, Mo. She is currently a UMKC Community Fellows Board Member and is the Assistant Oratorical Coordinator for the largest missionary Baptist convention in the US. Rochelle enjoys working with committees, serving others and working to improve conditions for others. |

Nola Moritz Bienhoff is a registered nurse in Kansas. She works for Prairie Surgical Care, LLC as a surgical office nurse. She has experience as a general surgery practice manager and a bariatric program coordinator. She has a variety of volunteer experience through her church and she was an integral part of MRCKC’s Functional Needs Task Force as they developed and created the Functional Needs Training Videos. Bienhoff developed and maintained a website, designed brochures and hosted monthly seminars for a program in the Kansas City area for weight-loss patients. She feels that she has the time and energy to dedicate to being a productive member of the Executive Committee. |

Donald A. Potts, M.D., is an associate professor of medicine at the University of Missouri — Kansas City. He had a private practice for 23 years, worked at Truman Medical Center Lakewood for 17 years and has worked as a volunteer physician at the Jackson County Free Health Clinic since 2005. Dr. Potts was deployed twice to Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina and twice to Haiti after the earthquake. He is a member of the Independence Board of Health and the Independence Disaster Response Committee. He is a former member of the Kansas City Health Commission and feels that his experiences both as a physician and a volunteer will help him to be an asset to the Executive Committee. |

Ellen Gary has practiced in the areas of medical/surgical, orthopedics, dialysis, diabetes, and psychiatry since receiving her degree from Avila University. She has served hospitals in Kansas City, Vorhees, NJ, and Lebanon, NH. She was certified as a Nurse Administrator and as a Diabetes Educator. Gary established a diabetes education program serving patients and the community for the West Jersey Health System. She helped to establish the Neuropsychopharmocology Treatment, Research and Training Center at the University of Connecticut Health Center, with responsibility for oversight of clinical studies. She completed 18 graduate hours in public health. |

Daniel Lindgren is the president of Ocuscience, a medical device manufacturer in Kansas City. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Missouri S&T and a Masters in International Business from the Boeing Institute, Saint Louis University. Lindgren has extensive experience in a variety of industries including information technology, aviation maintenance, medical device development, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical science. He is a member of the International Society of Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision (ISCEV). He is also a veteran U.S. Army Military Police officer. Married with three children, Lindgren is actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America with his oldest son. |

Harriet Pintenich has been a registered nurse for 26 years, and she possesses a wide range of clinical skills and expertise. She has worked for St. Luke's hospital as a Telemetry nurse for the last 21 years. She is especially proficient in bedside patient care and the promotion of good clinical outcomes. She is a detail oriented person interested in continually expanding her horizons in the field of healthcare. Currently licensed in Kansas and Missouri, she has been a member of MRCKC since 2005. In addition to serving on the Executive Committee, Pintenich volunteers as the MRCKC Education Program Manager. |

Patricia Tate has been a non-medical member of MRCKC since 2006. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology from Fordham University, New York, New York. Having worked for investment, insurance, architectural and engineering firms, she is currently retired. Her experience ranges from accounting manager to advertising director to president of her own company, where she developed software for profit and not-for-profit organizations. She and her husband reside in Parkville, Mo. They have four children and seven grandchildren. She also volunteers her time as Treasurer of the Kansas City Symphony Guild. |

Margaret Tretbar is a non-medical member of the Medical Reserve Corps of Greater Kansas City. She is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Kansas School of Law. She practiced law with Shook, Hardy & Bacon and Stinson Morrison Hecker in Kansas City. Inspired by her mother, she has been an active volunteer in many areas since her youth. Her interest in health care began as the child of a doctor. She is especially interested in promoting programs that meet the needs of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable populations. |
